What does Post Offer, Pre-Placement testing consist of?

  • Medical history review with a clinician, including past work-related injuries
  • A series of comprehensive medical measurements to document pre-existing impairments
  • Strength measures
  • Dynamic lifting & progressive lifting sequence
  • Cardiovascular measures
  • Job-specific testing demonstrating the capability to safely perform the essential functions of the job

Baseline medical information gathered during this process is kept for future use, so that if an injury occurs, a physician could quantify any change in condition and offer goals for rehabilitation, if needed.

But, it doesn’t stop there…

Staying legally compliant is a priority for both WorkSTEPS and Job Ready. Federal employment laws are constantly monitored, and appropriate changes are made to the testing program in order to continue to ensure legal compliance.

The cost of this test is the same (or sometimes much less) than the cost of ONE doctor’s visit!
